Free Music Downloads Online! (It's Legal Too!)

I have been enjoying free music downloads from spiralfrog.com this week. The website opened last week and provides completely free music downloads. The free music is supported by the side adds on the website. They don't have everything, but they are getting more music every day. One drawback is you have to play the music in windows media player instead of iTunes, but that is not that big of a deal. Check it out! spiralfrog.com

Did you know "saguaro cactus" is Latin for "sprite trees"?

Greetings from Scottsdale! The weather here is becoming fantastic and I have been discovering new places to run and hike everyday. My roommates are lovely, work is great, and I'm currently trying to think of the perfect Halloween costume--I'll be spending my Oct 31st with the O'Hares, they had already been making plans back in June when I was living with them. I also just found out that I'll be able to watch General Conference on one of our few basic tv channels. I can't wait to visit the fam in October. And I think a family blog is such a wonderful idea, hats off to Andrew for getting this set up!

SNOW!!!!

I just thought it would be important to report that Provo got snow on the mountain tops last night. Yep, it looks pretty awesome with the changing trees on the mountain side and snow on top.

I hope they call me on a mission

I thought I'd lost this video- prophetically hillarous!

BYU grad climbs Y

Here's a picture of Big H that I found on my computer the other day- I thought it was pretty cool.

Rocky Mountain High

Last week Jordan and I went biking at Slick Rock in Moab, then decided to take the Jeep on the 4x4 trails made for non-Grand Cherokee-type vehicles. After some absolutely amazing sandstone rises and declines, we sheepishly turned around and come back out to avoid some obviously car devaluing-type trails.

76 Trombones

I emailed some of these out yesterday, but some email addresses rejected them because they were too large. It was actually great weather for the parade.

Should we use this?

Hey guys- after following some friend's blogs for a while, I thought it might be fun to try one out for our family. Kind of like a family newsletter, we can post pictures and recount stories, such as top-secret airport tours or 1st place brownie recognitions. It seems to be pretty easy to add to and read.

The name is up for suggestion- but it seems like our family is usually referred to as dflindz in the online realm. Maybe throw a "Das" on the front to make it truely representative?

I thought I'd throw a couple pictures on here to start- photos from recently that I don't know if everyone has seen or not.
