Heather Driving, and doing really well!

The very first place we went was the little piece of slickrock that goes up a pretty steep climb, across the top, and down a pretty steep hill; it ends where there us most always a puddle of water. I know that Jordan and Andrew know what I am referring to. Heather drove up and down this little trail. She is a natural.

It is really much steeper than the picture shows.....
There was part of the trip that we stopped and did a little yoga...it helped with relaxation.
Zen and the heart of the dew rag....
A little trip to the outdoor bathroom, complete with an 'occupied' security chain to keep wandering desert hikers and bikers out. It would not keep critters out....to bad there was not a quick acting rabbit, chipmunk, or snake that slipped in...now that would be a great picture.
I found this girl from Iran just walking along the road, so I decided ot let her drive for a while.....

Moab

There were lots of self-portraits. This one is especially nice.
We worked hard to set the camera in a position and then I would run like heck to get in place before the 10 second timer went off.
Sometimes I would make it.....
And sometimes not....
This was the best place to ride.....

Papa Elf himself

Guess who accompanied me on an elevator ride this week...

I thought Bob Newhart had already left this world for greener pastures, but apparently he's still with us and has similar taste in hotels.

Countdown!

A tribute to our family funny man who will soon join us and cause a contagious case of belly laughter. I thought the blog was a good place to channel my excitement for his return, since he won't see it and become trunky. But he's coming home! It's gonna be thoroughly joyous!

June 2009/Nauvoo Excursion

"This is the way we roast our mallows,
roast our mallows, roast our mallows..."

Jordan in all his glory after a treacherous
bike ride up and down Rock Canyon.

JBGFR 2009 Heber City "Amazing Race."
It took us FOREVER to get to the post office.
We were happy to finally get there after three
times of asking people how to get there.

JBGFR 2009 "Amazing Race."
Jordan on the Alpine Slide!

Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House.
(pronounced "oh-kerr")

You'll have to ask Jordan about this place
if you haven't heard the story already
(from a previous journey across the country).

It POURED in Kearney. Jordan was soaked through.
I stayed dry in the car and took pictures. :)

When the rain cleared up.

Hooray!!! We made it!!!

Before going into the temple for the sealing.
Clarissa on the merry-go-round next to a...
cop car? Alright Nauvoo Police!

Isn't he just so handsome?!

We had a great time on our trip and wish you all could have been with us!

A key ring for hard work

There is 10% less of Mama Bear lately. I even got a keychain for all my hard work. I will continue working until I turn into Goldilocks and I am "Just right".

Love, Ma

Policy Update

Mom informed me that in addition to using no sheet or pillow case with less than a 300 thread count, Lindsays DO NOT PLAY MINIATURE GOLF. We only play real golf. I'm sure we don't need to be reminded of the consequences of any 'VIOLATION!' to family policy.

Good night, and good luck.

Kerrrrpluunck

This is from a second-story back-yard window in my house. If you look at it just right, you realize what the last thing to go through the head of the dead bird we found on the ground below.

Clarissa and Jordan's Rock Canyon Hiking Adventures!!!

As part of my Birthday Wishes we went hiking up Rock Canyon!

Clarissa in all her Majesty!

Jordan in all his ... majesty.

The trail up toward Squaw Peak was turned into a stream from melting snow.
This made hiking difficult and slow.

Clarissa Got a little bit muddy....

...because Jordan threw that huge rock in the mud....

...so that we could divert the water off the trail for the hike down to be dry!

The end!

Jordan's Birthday Wishes Come True!

For all of you who were not present at my birthday (pun for sure intended),
Here is a little taste of what you missed.

Before I had a lizard skin for my bike.

And after!

Before a new bra for the Civic.

And after!

Before I had awesome Sunglasses.

And after!

Please also take note that this blog post was done on my newly clocked up laptop which now runs on 2 Gigabytes (count 'em 2!) instead of the boring old 1!

Thanks Everybody!!!!!
